This collection of Mandalas with visual characteristics of unearthly portals by Asterkore lives on the ETH blockchain. As I create them and am inspired by stories and music which work themselves into the worlds, as well as my own inner experience and beyond. I notice the characters and suggestions of characters forming as I am drawing and I try to pull them out as they naturally appear before me. It is a complex meditative process of creation in which I connect with silence. My intention is to create a deeper connection to higher places between myself and the viewer.
Mandala art works are often a circular image with a radial balance and contain symbolic imagery which have been used for centuries as a meditative tool representing the universe, including man’s inner worlds as microcosms.
